Deepak heads the Mumbai office and leads the Private Equity team. He was previously Founder and Managing Director of GEM India Advisors (GIA). Prior to that, he was a Principal at Reuters Venture Capital, worked as a strategy consultant at Bain & Company and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Ernst & Young. Deepak has an MBA with distinction from INSEAD and an LLB (Hons) from King’s College London. Deepak currently serves on the board of Baker’s Circle, Bhayana Constructions, Impresario, New Horizon Media, Sula Wines, Saffronart, Trak Services and Vatika Land.
Gayatri joined BCP Advisors' Mumbai office from Kotak Investment Banking in the M&A team. Prior to this she worked with IDFC Private Equity and with Wasserstein Perella in Healthcare M&A (New York), and was part of Chancellor Joel Klein's team working on an overhaul of the New York City public school system. Gayatri has an MBA from INSEAD and a BA in Economics from Smith College, USA.
Prior to joining BCP, Akash was a Vice President at ICICI Venture focusing on investments in manufacturing, education, media & entertainment and retail. Earlier he has worked in investment banking at Edelweiss Capital, in international banking at ICICI Bank and as a software engineer at Infosys. Akash has an MBA from IIM-Ahmedabad and a BE from NIT Jaipur.
Godly joined BCP Advisors' Mumbai office from the Structured Product Funds Group (Debt, Convertibles, G-Secs, Stocks and Derivatives) of Kotak. Prior to this he was Assistant Systems Engineer at TCS-General Electric. Godly has an MBA from IIM Ahmedabad and BE (Computer Science) from IET Indore.
Chinmay joined BCP Advisors’ Mumbai office from Ernst & Young where he was a Senior Associate in its Investment Banking team dealing with Structured Finance and Restructuring projects. Prior to this he worked with Ernst & Young in its Transaction Support and Business Valuations team. Chinmay has an MBA from the Indian School of Business, is a Chartered Accountant and a MCom from the University of Mumbai.
Prior to joining BCP, Arjun had founded Yuva Web Services, a business focused on affordable fashion for Indian youth. Prior to this he worked with Bain & Co in consulting assignments across healthcare, financial services, telecom & infrastructure businesses. Arjun has an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad and a B Tech in electrical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
