Thomas is the CEO of Absolute Investment Services (AIS). Prior to AIS, Thomas held senior roles at Credit Suisse. Most recently he was a member of the Executive Board, Credit Suisse Financial Services & Head of the Investment Management division. Thomas currently serves on the boards of TradejetAG and Absolute Private Equity Limited. Thomas is a graduate of the Commercial School of Business Administration.
K.V. Dhillon is the Managing Director of Guggenheim Capital Management (Asia) and Head of Guggenheim’s India operations. Prior to joining Guggenheim Partners in 2008, K.V. was a partner at Thomas Weisel Partners (TWP). K.V. led TWP’s efforts in India by establishing its Mumbai office. During his career, K.V. has established strong relationships with leading investment managers including AIM Funds, Chartwell Investment Partners, Morgan Stanley Asset Management, T. Rowe Price and Turner Investment Partners and is on the Board of Directors of Pan Pacific Mercantile Group and Mainstreet Equity Corp. K.V. holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Calgary and an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University.
Peter is a Vice President at Swiss Re Private Equity Partners (SR PEP), a dedicated and independent set-up for indirect private investments. Peter also serves on several advisory boards of the Asian funds. Peter joined SR PEP in January 2007 and is responsible for its investment activities in Asia Pacific out of the Hong Kong office. Prior to Swiss Re, Peter spent 3 years in the trading department of First Allied Securities, Inc. Peter holds a B.S. in finance from Lander University.
John is responsible for Tetral's Fixed Income exposure as well as their External Manager selection. Prior to Tetral, he was a Fixed Income proprietary trader for Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi in Zurich and also started a securities broker/dealer operation for Tokai Bank in New York where he was a proprietary trader for Tokai Bank from 1989 through 1995, focusing on the senior debt and derivative markets in the United States. In addition he was a Compliance Auditor at NASD. John has a B.S. in Finance from Lehigh University.
Prior to joining Amwal as CEO in 2009, George was the Managing Director of Principal Investments at SHUAA Capital in Dubai where he was responsible for the company's proprietary investments globally. Earlier, he was co-founder and CEO of Intrinsic Asset Management managing traditional and alternative investment funds and was also a Fund Manager with Merrill Lynch Investment Managers in London. He started his career with Coast Investments & Development Company, a Kuwait-based private equity firm covering investments in Europe. George has a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from University College London.
Niyaz Laiq joining Hermes GPE in 2008 and plays a key role in all aspects of the investment process, focusing in particular on asset allocation and strategy. Niyaz has a BA in Economics from University of Delhi and a Graduate Diploma in Economics and MSc in Finance & Development from School of Oriental & African Studies (SOAS), University of London.
